Message from Executive Leadership

Close to one million Canadians will be living with dementia by the year 2030. At Baycrest, we have made it our mission to defeat this disease, which is only possible through the generous support of incredible donors. Thanks to our dedicated supporters, Baycrest is a global leader in care for older adults, research, innovation and education focused on brain health and aging.

As an academic health sciences centre, fully affiliated with the University of Toronto, Baycrest not only provides excellent healthcare but also hosts an extensive clinical training program for the next generation of healthcare professionals.

We are working to defeat dementia on many fronts. Our Rotman Research Institute is one of the top centres for cognitive neuroscience in the world. We are the scientific headquarters for the Canadian Consortium on Neurodegeneration in Aging, facilitating collaborations among dementia researchers across the country. In addition, our Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation (CABHI) is a solution accelerator that helps aging adults and their families gain access to new products and services that make their lives better.

Baycrest extends our deepest gratitude to our donors and broader community. We truly appreciate your dedication, and we are excited to share an overview of all the achievements that have been possible thanks to the support of donors, nurses, scientists, social workers, and many others. We hope the impact we are making together inspires you, as much as it does us. Thank you for being such a committed supporter of our mission to defeat dementia.

All the best,
