At Baycrest, the Kimel Family Centre for Brain Health and Wellness is the world’s first research-based community centre dedicated to reducing dementia risk and examining the benefits of personalized brain health programming.

Our Neuro Network’s motto is SAVE THAT THOUGHT and our group is on a mission to advance the work of the Kimel Family Centre. Members invest $18,000 over three years to support research on interventions and strategies to prevent or slow dementia. Members have access to:

Renowned neurologist Dr. Howard Chertkow is pushing the boundaries of brain health research. As head of the Kimel Centre and Scientific Director of the Canadian Consortium on Neurodegeneration in Aging, a network of more than 350 neuroscientists, he’s leading groundbreaking trials that combine supplements and medications to amplify their potential benefits.
