WE ARE THE NEXT GENERATION OF PHILANTHROPISTS
Baycrest Young Philanthropy (BYP) is a group of individuals in their 20’s and 30’s embarking on our philanthropic journeys with Baycrest. If you want to give back to the community by leading or participating in initiatives and raising funds for Baycrest’s world-leading dementia research and innovation, this group is for you.
For many of us, the risk of dementia is all too real. Whether it is watching a grandparent suffer from dementia, worrying about a parent who’s at risk for cognitive decline, dealing with the challenges of being a caregiver, or facing anxiety over our own aging and brain health - it affects us all.
Be Active. Be Educated. Be Supportive.
We raise funds for vital research and innovation at Baycrest. BYP aims to engage the next generation to champion Baycrest’s mission of providing exemplary health and residential care for older adults, by compassionately addressing each individual’s needs, ambitions, priorities and values.
What motivates us?
Everyone, no matter their age, no matter their background, deserves to make their later years the best years of their lives.
