The 21st annual Barrie 2 Baycrest (B2B) ride is quickly approaching. Now is the time to get yourself and/or your family or team in gear. Riders can choose from 50 or 100 km ride options.

Taking place on Sunday, September 11, riders will begin their morning with a hearty breakfast and a coach bus ride from Baycrest to Barrie. From there, cyclists of all skill levels will enjoy a scenic bike ride with stocked rest stops at a winery and private golf club on their back to Baycrest.

Cyclists participating in the 50 km ride will end their journey with a lunch at a winery, followed by a bus ride back to Baycrest. The full group will be joined by friends, family and the local community for a finish line party at Baycrest. This amazing community experience ends with an awards dinner later in the evening.

Fun and casual training rides with the B2B committee members are running throughout the spring and summer. Riders of all skill levels are welcome to ‘tune-up’ their skills before the official 2016 B2B ride.

All funds raised by B2B riders support therapeutic fitness and recreation programs at Baycrest, allowing seniors to engage in critically important activities that contribute to improved mental health, cognitive abilities and overall quality of life.
