The Toronto Jewish Old Folks Home, now Baycrest, opened its doors in 1918 when a group of visionary women recognized the needs of older adults.

As years progressed, the home's leaders wanted more for the community. They ventured up Bathurst Street and purchased 23 acres of land where they would relocate and become Baycrest.

Today, Baycrest is a source for specialized care that enriches the lives of older adults, offers extensive training programs for students, and is home to one of the world’s top research institutes in cognitive neuroscience.

On Sunday, October 14, 2018, we will celebrate Baycrest’s rich heritage and its extensive community at its 100th Anniversary Gala — and you are cordially invited to join us.

This inspirational evening will celebrate Baycrest’s past, but also look ahead to the next 100 years and what is to come.

Guests will enjoy dinner, cocktails, a live performance by Grammy Award Winners Earth, Wind & Fire.

We look forward to celebrating with you.
